The first two may often lead to the latter; whether in combination or not, I don't know. Someone care to find that out for me?
Dear god, I've not uploaded anything to my gallery in a while. A painfully long while, at that. Nor have I actually managed to pay attention to my devWatch - lately, however, both have been quite literally impossible. I recently spent a short stint in hospital for a minor surgical procedure, just to get a small anomaly fixed. Of course, that's left me somewhat home-bound and on a secondary note, somewhat unable to use a computer for any great lengths of time. Which, in turn, has negated most things creative on my part.
In short: RAGE. Intermittent amounts and interspersed with not-so-raging moments, but rage nonetheless. Somewhat.
Prior to the past week, however (went under the knife last Tuesday), I've been trying my hand at creating and remixing trance music. Or at least, something vaguely resembling trance music at some point during its production. I've yet to get my hands on a software package which can both alter and sequence sound in the manner I want and can interface properly with my keyboard synthesizer. Thankfully I was just pointed in the right direction with regard to the latter program, so once I can use a computer again, we'll see where that leads me.
Spur-of-the-moment Trance artist plugs!
OCEANLAB: A trio (and partly quartet) of British electro music artists, who (minus vocalist Justine Suissa) also form the incredibly popular trance group Above & Beyond. They produce probably the best trance music I've listened to thus far, and while I'm relatively new to appreciating the genre, the combination of Justine and the guys from A & B is something very close to impossibly amazing. Even if you're not a trance fan, listen to them. It'll be a treat.
ATB: I can't rememeber this guy's actual name (those are his initials), but his mixes are of appreciably high quality and some have quite interesting compositions. Not quite as amazing as Oceanlab, but worth a listen anyhow.
Blank & Jones: The surnames of both artists form the name of this trance duo, whose majority discography I recently became aware of. While vocals are not terribly prevalent in their work, they've produced some of the most intoxicating dance and trance music I've heard. Despite the booming bass beat after beat, their work is surprisingly good to relax to. I'd probably rate these two above ATB.
I had some kind of closing note. I know I did. But, like victory for the Soviet Union, it has escaped. FIND IT, COMRADES!
'Till next time, aufweidersehn.

Hey I read the mX
Do you remember this quote, I think it was a few days ago, but it was about animal cruelty.. It went something like this:
"Eating animals is okay. But taking their food, nah that's just cruel."
if you could remember, that would be great

I-I'm sorry, you just lost the game again. :c
Unfortunately I haven't read the paper in weeks; I've been on uni break and so haven't had cause to read it. So no, I don't remember that particular quote - one of my favourites, however, was:
A: "Oh god, I think I said this quote that's in Overheard!"
B: "Guess what's going to be in next week's edition."
